Man O’ War has 45 different vineyards dedicated to the production of our Ironclad Bordeaux blend. Each vineyard is hand harvested and sorted in the winery into whole bunch and berry batches.
The ferments are carefully managed with twice daily plunging by hand and fermentation carried out by native yeast.
After an average of 30 days in vat the wines are gently pressed direct to barrel where they remain until blending. Once blending has been completed the wine stays in tank for 4 months before a light filtration to bottle.
