TASTING NOTE

After our experience with the 2014 Bellerophon we were able to craft a wine from 2014 that will not only live up to the expectations created by the 2014 Bellerophon but will substantially exceed those expectations. The 2014 Bellerophon is classically structured with an intensely fragrant nose of violets, raspberries and white pepper. Careful management of the stem and Viognier components has resulted in a palate that is soft and elegant exhibiting flavours of ripe red berries. All of which is encased by the distinctive stem tannins giving a lifted freshness and lenght to the finish. The wine is incredibly approachable in its youth but will age gracefully developing more savoury earthy and smoked meat characters with time.
