"Unlike any other zipline I've experienced, the views are out of this world"

Getting Here

 An immersive journey.

Ready to escape and reconnect with nature? Meet Man O’ War Forest Flight. This unique zipline and forest walkway experience transcends the usual adrenaline hit of a zipline, weaving above and below towering Kauri canopies with the Hauraki Gulf as your backdrop.

Tucked away on the pristine north-eastern end of Waiheke Island, Man O’ War Forest is is an ecological haven steeped in 300 years of heritage.

Our eco-conscious Forest Flight journey comprises three tandem ziplines spanning over 900m connected by 660m of elevated boardwalk through the mesmerising groves. This design prevents the spread of Kauri Dieback and ensures the preservation of flora and fauna in their natural habitats to be enjoyed by the generations to come.

What to expect

Begin your adventure at our Experiences Centre located in Man O' War Bay. After a short, picturesque drive through vineyards and farm you’ll arrive at the Eastern End Viewpoint. At 210m above sea level, this vantage point offers breath-taking panoramic views of Waiheke Island and beyond.

Other than a short 50m walk up to the look-out it's all downhill from there. Literally.  Strap in for a descent that’s all about soaking in the lush native forest from all angles, while learning about our deep-rooted history and native flora and fauna with our passionate guides.

Featuring comfortable full sit, hands-free harnesses that keep you forward-facing (no awkward spinning) with custom Zipstop braking for a smooth ride. Plus, the tandem set up ensures you can share this unforgettable experience side-by-side with friends and family.

The grand finale? Touch down at our beachfront Tasting Room and Restaurant. You'll want to ensure you allow enough time to sample Man O’ War’s iconic wine collection and reflect on your adventure over a leisurely lunch.

The Forest Flight Experience takes about 2 hours (you will need to check in 15 mins prior to your scheduled departure time). We recommend allowing an additional hour for a wine tasting and atleast 1.5 hours for lunch. Please note Wine Tasting and Restaurant reservations are recommended and need to be made separately.
