PAYMENT

  • All Day in the Bay Group bookings require full pre-payment at least 7 days prior to your group visit at Man O’ War. Our accounts team will send you an invoice for the food component (i.e. set menu selection), Forest Flight and if applicable, wine tastings and Explore ferry tickets. Drinks to be charged on consumption and paid on the day (or invoiced by prior arrangement). 

FOREST FLIGHT
Although Forest Flight is tailored for a range of ages and levels of fitness there are a few restrictions to be aware of: 

  • You need to weigh between 35kgs and 125kgs and be a minimum of 125cm tall. 

  • You can’t be pregnant, suffer from any heart condition, have any broken, fractured or recently dislocated bones or have any previous back or neck conditions. 

  • You will not be able to participate if you are impaired by drugs or alcohol. 

  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or older. 

  • We ask that everyone participating be in generally good health - you must be able to walk and climb stairs unassisted and be able to carry your own equipment, which consists of a helmet, harness, and trolley (weighing 3kgs approx).

  • Electronic waiver forms will need to be completed by each individual at least 24 hours prior to your group arriving.

  • You must wear clean closed-toe shoes (like tennis shoes or hiking boots) - no jandals or slip-ons will be allowed.

  • Wear comfortable clothes: Pants or longer shorts are recommended - they’re more comfortable with our harnesses - and a T-shirt. We recommend wearing layers so that you can adjust your clothing accordingly once you have arrived. 

  • We operate rain or shine, so please plan ahead for the weather.

F&B

  • Please confirm your menu choice at the time of booking confirmation. 

  • Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements 7 days prior to booking date (vegetarian and gluten-free requests can be accommodated).

Drinks options:
We offer the following options for beverage payments – please advise at time of booking:
1. One bill per table: you will get full table service and your drinks will be charged onto one tab. The entire table's drink bill would need to be settled in one payment either at the end of your visit or via invoice within 48 hours after your visit.
2. Individual payments: guests can pay for their drinks individually at the bar. However, please note that we won't be able to provide table service for this option.

 

Day In The Bay -  Cancellation Policy


If you need to cancel your entire booking, Man O’ War reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. The below cancellation fees reflect the cost incurred in terms of staffing, food, and any loss of revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.  

  • Notice within 7 days of booking date  - a 50% cancellation fee will apply (of the total package cost)

  • Notice within 72 hours of booking date -  a 100% cancellation fee (of the total package cost).

Full refunds will be granted in the following situations:

  • You notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to your group booking date. 

  • We cancel your Forest Flight due to extreme weather conditions 

  • The Explore Ferry cancels your  schedule sailing 

  • We are unable to seat you inside and the weather is unsuitable for outdoor dining. 

Booking Adjustments

  • Final numbers for Forest Flight, Explore Ferry, and set menus must be confirmed no later than 72 hours prior to your booking. After this, we may be unable to accommodate extra guests due to staffing and operational planning.

  • Reductions in guest numbers must not exceed 20% of your confirmed booking and must also be advised at least 72 hours in advance.

  • If your Forest Flight numbers decrease, and you inform us at least 72 hours prior, we can issue you with a Forest Flight gift voucher (valid for 1 year) to use at another time OR put this cost towards your drinks bill in the restaurant if you are also dining with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund you for a partial amount.
